Cyber frauds on the rise, offence can't be taken lightly: SC

The Supreme Court acknowledged the rising trend of cyber frauds and their serious implications. It refused to quash or club FIRs lodged in different states for cyber fraud incidents. The court noted that the investigation is still in its early stages and complex. It stated that distinct offences and transactions cannot be clubbed together for a single probe.
