West Bengal plans container homes in Sandakphu, 100 tourist hubs to boost North Bengal tourism

The West Bengal government plans to set up 10 container homes in Sandakphu and 100 boutique-style tourist information centres across North Bengal. The facilities will offer accommodation, cafes, local cuisine, handicrafts and tourist services, while involving self-help groups to generate employment, improve infrastructure and boost tourism and revenue.
