Jaishankar calls for choking terror financing, safe international shipping lanes at ASEAN meet in Manila

External affairs minister S Jaishankar urged choking terror financing networks at the ASEAN Regional Forum. He stressed zero tolerance for terrorism and consequences for such acts. Jaishankar also called for ensuring international shipping lanes remain safe and open. Attacks on maritime shipping and civilian infrastructure are unacceptable, he stated. India supports a legally binding Code of Conduct in the South China Sea.
