Supreme Court advocates recited the Constitution's Preamble during their lunch recess. This action supported the Jantar Mantar protest and opposed police actions against demonstrators. Senior advocates Indira Jaising and S Muralidhar led the lawyers in this significant demonstration. They stated their presence was to stand with students and demand justice for them. The CJP movement, which began with a comment from the Chief Justice, has been protesting since June 20.
