UCO Bank Q1 net up 8% at ₹656 crore on higher operating profit and lower provisions

Public sector lender UCO Bank on Wednesday reported around 8 per cent year-on-year growth in its net profit at ₹656.32 crore for the first quarter this fiscal, backed by around 80 per cent increase in operating profit and around 62 per cent fall in provisions.
