Japanese industrial technology giant Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE: 6501) has been selected by Japan’s New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) to lead a major government-backed R&D initiative aimed at transitioning silicon spin-qubit quantum computers from academic demonstrations to mass-manufacturable industrial infrastructure.
