A teenage coffee shop worker leapt into a runaway driverless car to save two women stuck inside. CCTV footage shows Euan Lonnen, 18, sprinting towards the driverless vehicle outside the Highland Farm Cafe in Dingwall, Scotland, as it accelerated towards several parked cars. After unsuccessfully attempting to turn the wheel, Mr Lonnen jumped inside and pulled on the handbrake, stopping the car with just 1cm to spare before a collision. No one was injured, and neither car sustained any damage. “Not all heroes wear capes,” the cafe said as it shared the footage, praising Mr Lonnen’s quick-thinking actions.
