Passport fee hike: Delhi HC directs Centre to decide representation in three months - The Economic Times

The Delhi High Court has directed the Centre to consider and decide within three months a representation challenging the revised passport fees introduced under the Passports (Amendment) Rules, 2026. The court disposed of a PIL without ruling on the validity of the fee hike and asked the Ministry of External Affairs to examine the representation.
