Prologis's attempt to take over Segro has descended into a spat over the age of its chief executives as the US firm ramps up takeover efforts.

Segro has rejected a second and third takeover bid from US rival Prologis, as the tussle between the two property giants escalates.

Prologis said it put forward a new cash-and-stock proposal to buy FTSE 100 firm Segro on July 16 worth £9.93 a share.
