Hemodialysis mortality risks by blood type

Osaka Metropolitan University researchers found that patients undergoing hemodialysis with blood type A had lower risks of all-cause and cardiovascular mortality. The findings suggest that cardiovascular disease in dialysis patients may develop through mechanisms that differ from those in the general population.
