Nightly water lock-offs for some Corporate Area communities amid dry conditions

The National Water Commission (NWC) has implemented nightly water lock-offs for customers in Washington Gardens, Maverley and nearby areas in the Corporate Area amid ongoing dry conditions.The restriction took effect on Sunday, July 19, and will remain in place until further notice.Under the measure, residents will not receive water between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.The NWC said it had to implement the restriction to maintain water supply to the affected areas.
