Andy Burnham, who took office as UK prime minister on 20 July, has said he will speak with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to reassure him of London's steadfast and resolute support for Ukraine.

Burnham, already the fifth British prime minister since the outbreak of Russia's all-out invasion of Ukraine, has pledged that London's support for Kyiv would "not waver."
