Colombia’s solar, wind capacity hits 4.63 GW as Petro's term nears end

Colombia’s installed solar and wind power capacity has reached 4.63 GW, marking a more than twenty-fold increase since 2022, the mines and energy ministry said on Saturday, three weeks before the Gustavo Petro administration passes the torch to President-elect Abelardo de la Espriella.
