Class 1 losses threaten Edwin Allen dominance

When Edwin Allen High School’s girls’ team begins preparation for the 2026-27 track and field season, the 11-time ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships (Champs) winners will be under some pressure to retain the title they won this year.The Michael Dyke-coached team will lose some 10 Class 1 athletes who represented the school at Champs, as they are all heading to colleges and universities overseas. It is a record number for one school to have so many athletes leaving at the same time.
