Egyptian consortium wins Oman EPC framework agreement worth over $6bn

RIYADH: A consortium of Egypt’s Petrojet and Enppi has won a long-term engineering, procurement and construction framework agreement with Petroleum Development Oman, giving the Egyptian alliance access to a project portfolio worth more than $6 billion, Egypt’s Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources said. The deal, signed at Petroleum Development Oman’s headquarters, runs for six years and places the Petrojet–Enppi alliance among four international consortia and contractors qualified to compete for projects through competitive tenders.
