UAE pledges $5m to FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund

DUBAI: The UAE has pledged $5 million to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, reinforcing its commitment to expanding access to quality tuition and empowering children and young people around the world. The contribution will support the fund’s efforts to support initiatives that help children develop the knowledge and skills needed to thrive, while advancing global collaboration to address barriers to education. Global Citizen is an international advocacy organization that works to end extreme poverty.
