The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) had six appliances at the scene at 6.30am on Monday, after first responding to reports at 6.38pm on Sunday, with no casualties reported. The incident occurred as SFRS continued to battle a wildfire in the Cairngorms, which has been burning since Wednesday. Cairngorms park officials said that the wildfire, which burnt around four square kilometres at its peak, is now "largely surrounded" and under control.
