Sonam Wangchuk offers to end hunger strike if Parliament takes up education accountability

Activist Sonam Wangchuk will end his hunger strike if the government accepts accountability for education system failures. He also demands MPs assure Parliament will address education accountability during the Monsoon Session. Wangchuk's wife stated political leaders meeting him could also end his fast. Security was deployed at Jantar Mantar ahead of a proposed march to Parliament. The Cockroach Janata Party continues its protest and has called for a march.
