A fifth person has died in New York City amid an ongoing cluster of Legionnaires' disease on the Upper East Side, according to health officials.

A second person has died in connection with an outbreak of Legionnaires’ disease in New York. The New York City Health Department announced the death Saturday.

Upper East Side buildings, including the Met and Guggenheim museums, have cleaned and disinfected their cooling towers, which are believed to be the source of the outbreak.
