Tartous launches summer festival to boost tourism and local business

DAMASCUS: Friday saw the opening of Tartous Grand Festival on the Syrian port city’s waterfront promenade. The event brings together dozens of companies in a two-week event aimed at supporting the summer tourism season and attracting local economic activity. Organized under the patronage of Tartous Governorate and the city council, the festival features 66 national companies offering a wide range of products including clothing, food, household goods and cleaning supplies at discount prices.
