American guard Davion Mintz  joins Dubai Basketball from Germany’s Wurzburg Baskets

DUBAI: American guard Davion Mintz becomes the latest addition to Dubai Basketball for the 2026-27 season, joining the team from Wurzburg Baskets in Germany on a multi-year deal. The 1.91-meter 28-year-old arrives in Dubai following a standout season where he averaged 16.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3 assists per game across 31 Basketball Bundesliga appearances. He carried that form into the playoffs, posting 15 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game, while also making his mark in the FIBA Champions League with averages of 15.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 14 games.
