Flash flood horror in J&K: Poonch worst-hit, 8 dead, big updates on Amarnath & Vaishno Devi yatras

At least eight people have been killed and six others are missing in Jammu after heavy rainfall triggered flash floods and landslides across parts of Poonch and Rajouri. Surankote tehsil in Poonch emerged as the worst-affected area, with rescue teams deployed to reach stranded residents, clear debris and intensify relief operations. In Rajouri, flash floods inundated low-lying areas, forcing hundreds of people to move to safer locations.
