The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has launched a scathing attack on President Bola Tinubu's economic policies, saying they have plunged millions of Nigerians deeper into poverty and urging the president to either reverse course or resign from office. The opposition party said the latest World Bank report showing that about 139 million Nigeriana, roughly 60 per cent of the country's population, live below the national poverty line was evidence that the administration's economic reforms had failed ordinary citizens despite repeated government claims of economic growth.
