Dubai Basketball adds French Championship MVP Elie Okobo to roster

DUBAI: French guard Elie Okobo will play for Dubai Basketball after reaching an agreement with the team on a multi-year deal. The 28-year-old joins from AS Monaco, where he spent the past four seasons (2022-26), following a one-year stint with fellow French side LDLC ASVEL (2021-22). He becomes the latest addition to Dubai Basketball’s roster ahead of the 2026-27 campaign. Okobo arrives in Dubai with extensive experience at the highest level of European basketball. The 1.91-meter guard has appeared in 182 EuroLeague games during his career, averaging 12.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.
