Marvel Comics is relocating from its historic New York City headquarters

"Bringing our comics, film, television, and other creative teams together will help us learn from one another, collaborate, and build on the strengths that make Marvel the true House of Ideas."Marvel Comics has been based in New York City since its founding in 1939 as Timely Comics. Marvel also announced the hiring of Stephen Wacker as editor-in-chief, succeeding C.B. Cebulski, who will return to Japan to become the company's editor of Asia Originals, according to The Hollywood Reporter.Wacker most recently worked at Stone Kite, the Santa Monica-based entertainment studio he co-founded in 2023.
