Nigerian Police Confirm New 100% Exit Benefit Scheme For Retiring Treasury-Funded Workers

A police wireless message has revealed that the Nigerian government has approved the implementation of a new Exit Benefit Scheme (EBS), under which eligible employees of treasury-funded Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), including the Nigeria Police Force, will receive 100 per cent of their final total annual emoluments upon retirement. The signal obtained by SaharaReporters, was transmitted from the Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG), Zone 5 Department of Finance and Administration (DFA), Benin, to all Zonal Heads of Departments.
