Let’s pick up our tools and build a better South Africa

When we seek unity, we must not be looking for uniformity but divergent good. Collectively, we can give ourselves far more than anyone can take away. Let’s pick up our tools and build big and small – and let’s do so with inclusivity, sustainability, solidarity and friendliness. By building a better South Africa, we will be helping to build a better Southern Africa, a better Africa, and a better world. Even the slightest of advances is better than going backwards or standing still.
