India, Sri Lanka review progress made under bilateral defence cooperation plan

Indian Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh met his Sri Lankan counterpart Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha. They reviewed progress under the Bilateral Defence Cooperation Plan and reaffirmed their commitment. Both sides agreed to further strengthen defence cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
