He appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, sitting as a youth court, where he pleaded not guilty to preparing terrorist acts, allegedly motivated by an 'extreme right-wing ideology'. The court heard allegations that the boy identified targets, conducted reconnaissance, identified a weapon, and collected instructional material in preparation for attacks planned for 28 August. He also denied a charge of causing racially aggravated damage to property, specifically a car window, as part of an alleged plan nicknamed 'Operation Terrorise Sutton', which included 'bricking' and slashing tyres. The boy was remanded to youth detention and is scheduled to make his next appearance in custody at the Old Bailey on 21 August.
