Former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal met activist Sonam Wangchuk at Jantar Mantar, where Wangchuk is on the 19th consecutive day of his hunger strike. Kejriwal urged the Centre to listen to the youth and warned of a “2014-like fate” if it fails to do so. He also made a surprise proposal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging him to replace Dharmendra Pradhan with Sonam Wangchuk as the Union Education Minister.
