The United States is imposing 25% tariffs on imports from Brazil after finding a range of what it deemed unfair trade practices by the world’s 10th-biggest economy.

Brazil is bracing for a US tariff of up to 25% as the July 15 deadline lands, holding retaliation in reserve while betting Washington may only delay it.

The fresh levy will go into effect July 22 with exemptions for a list of goods, including those covered by Section 232 duties.
