India's social protection coverage has now reached over one hundred crore citizens and this expansion was acknowledged by the International Labour Organisation, said Union Labour and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. The coverage grew from twenty-five crore in 2015 to over one hundred crore by 2026. This achievement reflects the government's commitment to inclusive development for all. The International Social Security Association also recognized this outstanding social security achievement.
