Sonam Wangchuk loses over 9 kg after 19 days of hunger strike

Activist Sonam Wangchuk has lost over nine kilograms during his nineteen-day hunger strike. His doctor reported fair hydration and continued mental alertness despite the prolonged fast. Wangchuk began his protest against alleged examination irregularities at Jantar Mantar. The Cockroach Janata Party's demonstration entered its twenty-seventh day on Thursday. They are demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
