President Donald Trump removed US Attorney Roger Rogoff from his Seattle post within an hour. Rogoff had been unanimously appointed by federal judges serving the Western District of Washington. He received an email from the Trump administration informing him of his dismissal. Acting US Attorney General Todd Blanche stated POTUS can remove judges' interim appointments.

Roger Rogoff had just been sworn in when he received the email.
