Manipur: Seven arrested in hill and valley districts for possessing illegal firearms

Security forces apprehended seven individuals for possessing illegal firearms across Manipur's districts. Four were arrested in Ukhrul district following an operation related to a recent ambush. Two Assam Rifles personnel were killed in that earlier attack on their convoy. Additionally, an active cadre of a banned group was detained in Imphal East district. These arrests occur amidst ongoing search operations in vulnerable areas of Manipur.
