Helicopter footage from St John’s County Sheriff’s Office showed pyrotechnics being launched from a moving vehicle, which was also towing a boat, towards other cars on Interstate 95. Deputies stopped the vehicle, and bodycam footage captured the driver initially denying involvement until informed about the helicopter surveillance. The passenger was subsequently arrested and charged with shooting a deadly missile from a moving vehicle. The State Attorney’s Office later dropped the charges against the passenger.
