TMC's Abhishek Banerjee gives voice sample in poll speech probe

Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee provided his voice sample to a magistrate. This action was in connection with an investigation into his alleged intimidatory speech. The Calcutta High Court had directed Banerjee to appear before the magistrate for this purpose. He had previously not appeared on two earlier ordered dates for giving his sample. The high court also directed police to ensure he faced no harassment.
