Ather Energy raises Rs 1,200 crore from IJF, Hero Motocorp, founders - The Economic Times

Under the preferential issue, the India-Japan Fund will subscribe to Rs 200 crore worth of equity shares, while Hero MotoCorp will invest Rs 960 crore through convertible warrants. Cofounders Tarun Mehta and Swapnil Jain will invest Rs 20 crore each. The preferential issue, increases the size of Ather's earlier planned Rs 1,000-crore preferential allotment to Rs 1,200 crore.
