The body of Nigerian nurses under the aegis of Elegant Nurses Forum (ENF) has condemned the suspension of the Chairperson of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) at the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Kaduna, describing the action as victimisation aimed at silencing a union leader over welfare advocacy. In a statement signed by its National Coordinator, Nurse Thomas Abiodun Olamide, the group rejected the hospital management's claim that the chairperson was suspended for providing temporary shelter to stranded nursing students.
