Tis Hazari Court granted a 24-hour transit remand for EBIX chairman Vikas Garg. The Enforcement Directorate arrested Garg in connection with the Mahadev online betting app case. He will be produced before a special PMLA court in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Properties worth Rs 940 crore belonging to Garg have already been attached. Garg failed to appear after being summoned for investigation.

Vikas Garg was appointed the convenor of BJP Delhi’s economic cell in 2024. He now faces money laundering charges in a case related to an illegal betting app.
