RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Cabinet has approved an updated state revenue system, a move officials say strengthens governance and boosts the efficiency of managing government revenues. The decision was made during the Cabinet’s session held on July 14 in Jeddah. The update comes as part of the broader development of the Kingdom’s financial system, aimed at reinforcing revenue management efficiency, entrenching principles of governance and transparency, and keeping pace with the economic and administrative transformations underway, in line with the targets of Saudi Vision 2030.
