Devendra Fadnavis has now served as Maharashtra's chief minister for 2,430 days. This duration surpasses Sharad Pawar's previous record of 2,412 days in the post. Fadnavis completed a full five-year term from 2014 to 2019. He became the state's second youngest chief minister at age 44. Vasantrao Naik remains the longest-serving chief minister in Maharashtra's history.
