Bengaluru has directed BMTC conductors not to ask passengers to get off buses over a lack of change after Karnataka Transport Minister Byrathi Suresh faced the same situation during a surprise inspection. Conductors have been instructed to offer UPI payments as an alternative, while repeat offenders may undergo soft skills training.
