CIC directs petroleum ministry arm to share historical petrol, ethanol, profit data

The Central Information Commission ordered the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell to release historical petrol production and import data. It also mandated the disclosure of ethanol procurement and blending figures, along with petroleum sector profits. The commission found that the cell had initially provided only partial information to an applicant. PPAC must now furnish revised responses and specific web links for ethanol blending notifications.
