Floods and landslides wreak havoc across Bangladesh

At least 51 people have died and more than one million have been stranded after days of torrential monsoon rain triggered floods and landslides across Bangladesh. The government has deployed the armed forces for rescue and relief operations as several districts remain inundated and rain continues in parts of the country.
