Siemens wins Rs 263 crore RVNL order for Uttarakhand rail electrification

Siemens Ltd has secured a significant Rs 263 crore order from Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. This order is for supplying overhead rail electrification technologies for a key project. The Rishikesh-Karnaprayag rail line project will enhance connectivity in the Himalayan region. This initiative is part of the strategically important Char Dham connectivity corridor. The project aims to improve all-weather transport and regional economic development.
