Emergency services, including Cleveland Police, the RNLI, Coastguard, and North East Ambulance Service, were called to the incident at 3.45pm. The men were pulled from the water by RNLI staff and received immediate medical treatment but were both pronounced dead a short time later. The two children involved were taken to hospital for checks and are now safe, according to authorities. Police confirmed the deaths are not being treated as suspicious, and the RNLI issued a warning about open water risks, advising people to 'Float to Live'.
