With over two lakh micro food processing ventures benefiting from credit-linked subsidies through the PMFME scheme, this program has facilitated over twenty thousand crore rupees in investments. It has led to around eleven lakh employment opportunities, highlighting a strong trend of first-generation entrepreneurs, with women representing forty-four percent of beneficiaries. The initiative is being extended, and plans for an updated version are currently in the works.
