WB CM Suvendu Adhikari rejects lynching tag for man's death in violence after girl's rape, murder; gives his kin job

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari stated Indrajit Mondal's death was not a mob lynching. He provided a job and financial aid to Mondal's family after the incident. The Chief Minister also met the raped and murdered girl's parents, assuring them of assistance. He suggested radical communal forces or poll-rejected individuals might have instigated the violence. Police have arrested over 35 people in connection with the vandalism and murder cases.
