This level of performance was comparable to more invasive cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) testing and expensive amyloid PET brain scans. The study included patients seen in primary care, where most people first seek help for memory problems, as well as those evaluated by memory specialists.The peer-reviewed journal “Diagnostics” published research that showed health care professionals reported increased diagnostic confidence when using the PrecivityAD2® blood test to help rule in or rule out Alzheimer’s disease.
